We know planning your big day comes with a lot of moving parts — but your hair and makeup shouldn't be one of them. Below you'll find answers to some of our most common questions about booking, timing, payments, and our on-site services. BOOKING & DEPOSITS
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. A non-refundable $80 deposit is required to secure your date. This amount will be applied toward your day-of services.
How soon in advance should I book my event?
We strongly recommend booking up to 12 months in advance, as popular dates fill quickly!
HAIR & MAKEUP SERVICES
How long does it take for hair and makeup per person?
On average, we allot 45 minutes per service per person.
What if I want to do a trial run?
Trial runs aren’t required, but highly recommended! If you're interested, we suggest booking your trial 1–2 months before your wedding.
How many artists will you send?
The number of artists depends on your timeline, bridal party size, and services needed. We collaborate with trusted professionals to ensure we're fully staffed when extra hands are needed.
Do you offer airbrush makeup? The Pretty Committee exclusively uses traditional makeup. In our experience, airbrush foundation isn’t always the most inclusive option for different skin textures. Traditional makeup allows for more flexibility and tends to look more natural and skin-like, especially up close.
BRIDAL PARTY & GROUP SIZE
What if I have a large bridal party?
We can absolutely accommodate large groups! Please note that we require a 4-person minimum per artist for on-site bookings.
TRAVEL & LOCATION
Do you charge a travel fee?
Yes. Travel fees vary by location — please inquire for a custom quote. If applicable, any parking fees or overnight stays must also be covered by the party.
PAYMENTS
What forms of payment do you accept?
Each artist accepts individual payments.
